Hi, just finished a dive in the chilly waters of the St Lawrence Seaway, 39F, and found the suit very warm. I was the only wetsuit diver out and the dry-guys were getting cold. I was very impressed by how little water entered the suit. and how comfortable and flexible it was.
I can't coment on longevity, but I don't see any problems and the zipper is quite smooth, although a dog leash may be needed to self-don.

Hello I'm a commercial diver and a guide group under recreational diving. I also owned both, but the problem is the poorer quality of the zipper and around it. The previous generation is better constructed and if it fails you can send it so they can put a new one. But the new generation the quality is worse (looks like aluminum but weaker), it get's thinner in the interior of the zip sooner where it's supposed to close and losses functionality. If you intend to put a new one you can't do so easy neither at the workshop. Scubapro has reduced the capacity to let others fix the problem with generic zippers to avoid competence with their technical service. Also the previous had an inner fold that overlapped the zip but this new one is only face to face instead of covering.
